Parents lined up early today outside Fordham Plaza, one of the enrollment spots where Department of Education officials can make last-minute changes before school begins.
DOE employees were out before the 8 a.m. opening making sure Bronx parents had all the necessary paperwork to enroll for school.
The DOE says if parents still need to enroll their children in school to make sure to bring their child's birth certificate, immunization records and two items proving New York City residence.
Enrollment sites in the Bronx are closed Friday, Monday and Tuesday, but they will reopen on Wednesday. Parents can also enroll for school at their zoned school, which is determined by their home address.
School begins Sept. 4.
