It will cost out-of-towners more this year to park at two of Milford's beaches.
The Milford Board of Aldermen voted to raise the parking fee for Walnut and Gulf beaches to $15. That is up from the previous $5, which had remained unchanged for 20 years.
Officials say the increase will bring Milford more in line with other beach communities.
Officials say that fee is only for non-residents. Milford residents can still park for free.
