You’ll notice more clouds rolling in as the day goes on, and by the afternoon, there’s a chance for a few showers, maybe even an isolated thunderstorm or two. A light southwest breeze will be in play, and the humidity will pick up just a bit before a cold front moves through later in the day. That front will bring back that crisp, refreshing feel to Western Connecticut just in time for the weekend. Saturday looks to be the coolest day of the holiday stretch, but by Monday, temperatures bounce back into the upper 70s. The good news? We’re in for a dry stretch of weather through the weekend and most of next week. Rain doesn’t look like it will return until about a week from now.
