State police are investigating a late night accident where a person was hit by a car on I-95.
It happened around 11:30 p.m. on the southbound side near exit 26.
Troopers say the pedestrian was in the left median when they were hit by the car.
Both the left and center lanes of the highway were shut down for hours while crews investigated the scene.
Police say the pedestrian was taken to Saint Vincent's Medical Center.
