A plea deal is in the works for the three high school students charged with burning down an historic theater building in Stratford.
The three appeared in court Saturday and were told to return next month when an agreement would most likely be presented by the state.
The judge did not give any specifics about the would-be deal, including how much, if any, prison time would be required.
The three boys are charged with using gasoline to set the fire that burned the Shakespeare Theater to the ground last year.
Two of the them are also charged in connection to a string of other arsons after the Stratford fire.
