Plymouth police announced Wednesday that they finally captured Buddy the beefalo after months of searching.

They say community members fed him through the winter before experts were able to finally get him.

Buddy will be heading to Massachusetts for a veterinary exam before heading to Critter Creek Farm Sanctuary in Gainesville, Florida.
