A podcast by a group of Bunnell High School seniors has become a hit with the entire Stratford community.
Andrea Serreti and Julian Marottolo told News 12 they came up with the idea last summer and pitched the show to two other classmates, Christopher Bucknor and Jennae Williams. And so began “Bulldog Underground,” but with a twist – broadcasting the show from the school’s basement.
"We all knew each other,” said Marottolo, co-host of the podcast. “We were all friends throughout high school but none of us were best friends.”
The group converted the basement into their makeshift studio and began the show last October.
"I decided why not, it sounded like it'd be pretty fun,” added Bucknor.
"Jenae and I go back and forth a lot, said Serreti. “Julian edits the episodes; Chris always comes up with his new facts and stuff we haven't heard about."
All four students are set to graduate in June.
The podcast can be found on Spotify.
