Police: 1 dead, 3 rescued when boat capsizes in Long Island Sound

One man died and three others were injured when their boat capsized in Long Island Sound off Bridgeport, police say.

One man died and three others were injured when their boat capsized in Long Island Sound off Bridgeport, police say.
The incident happened Sunday in the area of Middle Ground, Long Island Sound, Stratford Shoal Buoy #2 around 10:30 a.m.
Police say the 17' boat began to take on water when it flipped with the four fishermen on board. 
 
Three of the men were rescued by the Coast Guard and transported to the Bridgeport Water Street Dock where medics began treatment before they were transported to Bridgeport Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. 
A fourth man was picked up by the Bridgeport Police Marine Unit and later died at Bridgeport Hospital. He has not yet been identified.
