Stratford police say a person has died after two cars collided on a busy street Sunday.
The crash happened at around 12:45 p.m. at the intersection of Main Street and Freeman Avenue.
Investigators closed the road for nearly eight hours as they worked to determine what caused the accident.
"It appears that the striking vehicle was on the wrong side of the road, so again we are investigating why that was, if that is the case," said Lt. Frank Eannotti of the Stratford Police Department.
Eannotti says there was one driver in the striking vehicle and two in the victim's vehicle.
