Police: Man facing drug charges following compliance inspection

A person was stabbed Monday night in downtown Bridgeport, police say.

It happened at 6 p.m. at the intersection of John and Middle streets.

The victim informed officers they were stabbed in the head.

They were taken to a hospital, but their condition is currently unknown.
