A 12-year-old girl was killed after being shot in the head and three men were also struck by bullets during a drive-by shooting in Hartford, police say.

The incident happened Thursday on Huntington Street around 9 p.m.

Police say the girl, identified as Secret Pierce, was rushed to the hospital in critical, and unstable condition and was sitting in a parked car.

Police say Pierce died at the hospital this morning.

Three men on the sidewalk were also hit, including an 18-year-old who is seriously hurt, police say.

Police say they do not believe the girl was the intended target and no arrests have been made.
