Two men were hospitalized after being shot Monday night on Franklin Avenue in Hartford.

Police say they received a call reporting numerous gunshots in the area. Upon arrival, they found a man in his early 20s inside a car that had crashed into the porch of a home.

The man was taken to hospital with multiple gunshot wounds. Police say he is in critical condition.

A second victim was taken to another hospital to be treated for gunshot wounds that are not considered life-threatening.
