Darien police say an arrest has been made in the assault of an Uber driver that was caught on video.

They say 21-year-old Shandaken Ford is seen in a video screaming at the driver to show him his driver's license before punching him.

It happened around 11:30 p.m. Friday night. Police say Ford ran from the scene before officers arrived but they applied for an arrest warrant the next day and served it as soon as it was delivered to the department.

Ford faces misdemeanor assault and breach of peace charges.
