Police: 22-year-old in critical condition after car hits curb, crashes into utility pole

Police say a 22-year-old passenger is in critical condition after the car he was in hit a curb and crashed into a utility pole.

Police say a 22-year-old passenger is in critical condition after the car he was in hit a curb and crashed into a utility pole.
The crash happened around 4:20 p.m. Saturday in the area of Cove Road. Police say a 2007 BMW driven by a 20-year-old Stamford resident lost control, hit the curb, spun out then hit the pole.
The driver was treated for minor injuries. The passenger is currently at Stamford Hospital.
Stamford Police Department's Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Squad wants anyone with information on the crash to contact them.
