Bridgeport fire officials say three people were hospitalized this evening after they were struck by a car.

Authorities say two adults and one child were crossing Boston Avenue near Dover Street when they were hit. Officials say the child is in critical condition. As for the adults, there is no word yet on their condition.

It is unclear at this point whether the driver will face any charges.
