A source tells News 12 Connecticut that police spent part of last weekend digging up a section of Seaside Park to search for the body of a girl missing since 2001.
According to the source, detectives received a tip that 10-year-old Bianca Lebron was buried in the area probed by police. The girl was last seen entering a brown and tan van outside of the Elias Howe School in 2001.
Police say that their search did not uncover anything buried at the park.
