Police: Driver pleads guilty in 2019 Stamford crash that killed 2 teens

Police say Jerry Diaz is scheduled to appear in court for sentencing on June 6.

Stamford police say the driver accused of killing two teens in a traffic accident in 2019 has pleaded guilty.
Police say Jerry Diaz was driving about 90 mph when he lost control and knocked over two utility poles on Canal Street near the corner of Ludlow Street.
Kymoni Pollock, 19, and NiShawn Tolliver, 18, were killed in the accident. Three other people were seriously injured.
Diaz is scheduled to appear in court for sentencing on June 6.
