A Bridgeport man is facing multiple charges after police say he fled from a traffic stop and drugs and a gun were found in his vehicle.
Police say they tried to pull over 27-year-old Reynaldo Castillo on State Street around 2 a.m.
They say Castillo led officers on a chase through the city and ended up crashing on East Main Street. He then began to flee on foot.
Officers say they eventually arrested Castillo, and found a weapon and drugs in his car.
"We found a loaded 9mm Sig Sauer. We also discovered a large quantity of PCP, marijuana and cocaine," says Chief A.J. Perez.
Police also say Castillo had removed the serial numbers from the gun, which is illegal.
