Police: Gunman fired shots from multi-family home in Bridgeport
A gunman fired shots from the third-floor of a multi-family home in Bridgeport leading police to evacuate a neighborhood.
The incident happened on Caroll Avenue around 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Police say a man struggling with mental health issues fired a series of gunshots.

They say no one was struck.
Video from a home security camera shows one resident wearing body armor, then being evacuated into a SWAT truck.
Police say the neighbor who was evacuated from the area is a longtime friend of the gunman and that her husband helped calm the situation by telling the gunman to surrender.
