A Waterbury man is accused of sexually assaulting six women who worked at a Woodbury restaurant where he was the head chef, state police say.

Court documents say the assaults took place at Mix Prime Woodbury.

Police say Walid Gad forced one of the women to have sex with him on multiple occasions. He also inappropriately touched the other women.

Officers say three of the women were undocumented immigrants and Gad threatened to call immigration officials if they reported the abuse.

Gad was located in Waterbury Wednesday and taken into custody. He was charged with five counts of first degree sexual assault and one count of fourth-degree sexual assault.

He is being held on a $750,000 bond.
