Stamford police are searching for the two suspects responsible for a brazen home invasion Sunday morning.
Police say the incident took place at around 6:30 a.m. on the second floor of a Fairfield Avenue home. They say the homeowners woke up to find two masked men with guns.
The woman who owns the home says the men struggled with residents as they tried to rob them, and shot holes through the ceiling.
Police say the people on the third floor could have easily been shot and killed.
Investigators say the two suspects took off running down the street and got away.
News 12 is told no one was hurt.
