Stamford police want the public's help identifying a man who allegedly stole an off-duty police officer's vehicle in Waterbury.
Investigators say they spotted the man driving the car near the Ridgeway Shopping Center.
Officers say he sped off but crashed the vehicle on Borglum Street.
Police say he ran through several backyards and was last seen on Cold Spring Road.
