Police have identified the victim who was fatally struck by a car in Stamford.
As News 12 reported, the incident happened Aug. 17 on High Ridge Road near Olga Drive around 11:30 p.m. 
Officials say 89-year-old Sanh Truong was trying to cross the road near a Burger King when he was struck by the Toyota Prius.
The incident happened just blocks away from his home.
The driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
