Connecticut state police arrested a motorist suspected of a hit-and-run accident in Greenwich Thursday.
According to police, the incident took place around 4:30 a.m. in a parking lot on North Water Street, close to the New York state line. Police say a woman was struck and the motorist took off.
According to police, they got a license plate number from an eyewitness and police spotted the suspect heading north on I-95.
State police pulled the car over, inspected it and made an arrest. Authorities have not released the name of the suspect nor have they released the name or condition of the victim.
