DoorDash driver charged with sexually assaulted Farmingdale woman

A man has been arrested for breaking into a home and assaulting a man in his sleep in Fairfield.

According to police, the incident happened on Sunday on Old Academy Road.

Police say Gabriel Garcia Gonzalez, 18, admitted to police that he had entered the home through a window and proceeded to assault a sleeping man.

Garcia Gonzalez is the ex-boyfriend of the victim’s current girlfriend.

Garcia Gonzalez faces several charges and is held on $100,000 bond.
