Norwalk police say a man wanted for a sexual assault case from more than three years ago has been arrested in Florida and returned to Connecticut to face charges.

Antonio Lazarro Torres-Rodriguez went on the run after he was accused of sexually abusing a child in December 2014.

Investigators say they found he had a second child victim as well.

In March, Orlando police arrested him on a DUI charge. He gave officers there a fake name, but his fingerprints revealed his true identity and linked him to the active arrest warrant in Norwalk.

"He's no longer out there, and he's no longer a threat to anybody," says Norwalk Police Sgt. Sofia Gulino.

Torres-Rodriguez faces charges of sexual assault, risk of injury to a minor and intentional cruelty. A judge set his bond at $1 million.
