Police: Man, woman found dead in New Haven home ruled a double murder

New Haven police say they are investigating a double homicide after a man and woman were found dead in a home Sunday.

New Haven police say they are investigating a double homicide after a man and woman were found dead in a home Sunday.
Emergency crews responded to the home on Winthrop Avenue shortly before 11:30 a.m. Police say a 911 caller had reported finding the two people severely injured inside of the home.
The man and woman were pronounced dead at the scene.
Their identities have not been released, and the causes of death are unclear at this time.
New Haven police say the Major Crimes Detectives and Bureau of Identification forensic detectives responded to the location and were canvassing the area.
