A 4-year-old boy who had been declared missing has been found and the Amber Alert has been canceled, according to authorities.
Police say Armel Muhammad had been reported missing from Middletown Tuesday.
They say the vehicle they believed Muhammad to be in was located at a motel in Wethersfield on the Berlin Turnpike.
The child was taken from the motel by police.
The original alert issued by police also referenced a 39-year-old woman, identified as Michelle Fonda, who was described as an "associated companion." No information has been released on the woman who was with Muhammad following the alert's cancellation.
