A multi-state manhunt is underway for a UConn student wanted in connection with two murders, kidnapping and an assault, police say.
The suspect was identified as 23-year-old Peter Manfredonia.
Police say he is wanted in connection to a Willington homicide on Friday and a Derby homicide that took place Sunday in Connecticut.
They say Manfredonia is considered to be armed and dangerous.
State police in Pennsylvania released a surveillance image of a man believed to be Manfredonia who was wearing a large black-colored backpack while walking in East Stroudsburg, Monroe County on Sunday.
Authorities converged on an area near the border of Seymour and Derby, Connecticut, Sunday morning in the search of Manfredonia.
Authorities say that Manfredonia stole supplies, firearms and a truck from a Willington home and drove the truck to Derby.
Police say Manfredonia abandoned the truck on the edge of Osbornedale State Park, where authorities were searching the woods and nearby neighborhoods.
They say Manfredonia visited an "acquaintance" on Roosevelt Drive.
When police were searching for Manfredonia, they found 23-year-old Nicholas J. Eisele dead.

State police say they figured out there was another person in the home in Derby where Eisele was found dead, and that Manfredonia kidnapped them.
The person was later found safe in New Jersey, and confirmed with investigators that Manfredonia did take them from the home in Derby.
Police are warning the public not to approach Manfredonia.
State police said Sunday that he was believed to be armed with pistols and long guns.
Authorities describe Manfredonia as a white male, 6 feet, 3 inches tall, with brown hair and brown eyes.
He was wearing a gray T-shirt and gray sweatpants, and was carrying some type of bag, according to police.
A 2016 black Volkswagen Jetta, with Connecticut license plates AU78524, was taken from the scene in Derby.
It was later located in New Jersey near the Pennsylvania border.
New Jersey and Pennsylvania law enforcement agencies are actively searching for Manfredonia.
Investigators say Manfredonia is from Newtown and is a student at UConn.
A UConn spokesperson confirmed that Manfredonia is a senior at the school and has not been living on the campus during recent semesters.
"The university expresses its deepest, most heartfelt sympathies to the victims and their families in this horrible, incomprehensible tragedy. They are all in our thoughts," the spokesperson says.
