A New City man was arrested in connection to the fentanyl overdose of a Connecticut man.
The Stamford Police Department says a 32-year-old was found dead in a home in their jurisdiction back in August. It was determined he died due to a fentanyl overdose.
After a five-month investigation, authorities say evidence led investigators to identify Daniel McDonald, 32, as the suspect who sold the fentanyl to him.
McDonald was apprehended Monday with the help of the Clarkstown Police Department. During the arrest, authorities say officers found 656 bags of heroin and other drug paraphernalia.
McDonald is currently in jail in New York and will be transferred to Connecticut, where he will face his charges.
