Police: Norwalk man fled from crash that left pedestrian with serious injuries

Norwalk police say the incident happened on Nov. 7 at the Intersection of Martin Luther king Jr. Drive and Madison Street.

A Norwalk man has been charged with hitting a pedestrian and evading the scene.
Norwalk police say the incident happened on Nov. 7 at the Intersection of Martin Luther king Jr. Drive and Madison Street.
The victim was taken to Norwalk Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Following an investigation, police were able to find the vehicle and issue an arrest warrant for Anouce Souffrant. He was arrested on Friday and charged with evading responsibility resulting in physical injury.
Souffrant, 44, is being held on $100,00 bond and is expected to appear in court on Jan. 5.
