Police: NY driver arrested in Norwalk motor vehicle accident

Police say 30-year-old Giovani Holguin of Harrison, NY was involved in a motor vehicle accident on April 19, on Wilson Avenue which resulted in serious physical injuries to a juvenile.

Norwalk police say they arrested a driver who struck a bicyclist back in April.
They say 30-year-old Giovani Holguin of Harrison, NY was involved in a motor vehicle accident on April 19, on Wilson Avenue which resulted in serious physical injuries to a juvenile.
Officers say that the injured juvenile was one of five individuals riding their bicycles along the eastbound lane of Wilson Avenue.
Holguin turned himself in at Norwalk police headquarters and is charged with reckless endangerment second degree (5 counts), reckless driving, traveling unreasonably fast and failure to maintain proper lane.
He is due in court May 23, 2025.
