Police: Pedestrian struck by SUV in Stamford 

Officials said the victim was sent to the hospital and remains in critical but stable condition in the ICU.

Stamford Police say a 46-year-old resident was hit by an SUV while crossing West Main Street.
It happened on Tuesday after 5 p.m.
Officials said the victim was sent to the hospital and remains in critical but stable condition in the ICU.
Police believe the victim was not in the crosswalk at the time.
They say, tonight's storm and low visibility could have played a role in the accident.
Police say the driver is cooperating.
