UPDATE: New Canaan police say the man in the picture did not commit any crime.

New Canaan police are asking for help identifying a man who they say used counterfeit money at a local business.
Police released a photo of a man walking a small white dog.
It happened at the Mobil Station on South Avenue earlier this month.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
