Surveillance cameras recorded a shooting over the weekend on Spruce Street in Stamford.
The video appears to show a suspect in a hoodie shooting at someone off-camera. The victim apparently escaped unscathed, although bullets struck a vehicle and the side of a building.
Police say the shooter most likely conspired with another man who the assailant is shown speaking to shortly before the attack.
Investigators recovered several shell casings and a bullet at the scene of the crime. Police say the expanding bullet and the .45 caliber gun are very unique and hope someone will soon recognize it.
Police also say the gun, which was equipped with a laser or light attachment, may have been stolen. They are asking anyone with information on the shooter or the weapon to contact Stamford police.
