Police in Norwalk are trying to track down those responsible for breaking into a Burger King and taking off with a safe.
It happened at the restaurant on Main Avenue near the Merritt Parkway.
According to police, the crime was reported today around 6:15 a.m. when the first employee to arrive at the restaurant noticed the drive-thru window had been smashed in.
Police say when they got to the restaurant, they found the safe had been stolen.
Detectives are currently processing the scene for evidence.
Police don't have any suspects at this time.
