A salon employee sexually assaulted a juvenile in Norwalk, police say.

Karoll Angelina Jurado-Hernandez, 46, was arrested on Tuesday at the salon and charged with sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor. 

Police say the incident happened on Aug 24, 2019 inside the Khronos Beauty Salon at 250 Westport Ave.

According to police, someone complained that a juvenile had been sexually assaulted inside the salon by an employee. 

Police say they obtained a search warrant inside the salon. 

After an investigation, police say Jurado-Hernandez's DNA was found on evidence recovered during the investigation.

She is being held on a $250,000 bond, and has a court date of Feb. 18.
