A second suspect is in police custody in connection to the murder of a store owner in Bridgeport earlier this month.
Treizy Lopez, 18, faces a felony murder charge and is being held on $1 million bond after police say he and another suspect walked into Sapioas Grocery on Lexington Avenue, demanded money and then shot the owner, Jose Salgado.
Authorities from the U.S. Marshal Violent Crime Fugitive Task Force and local and state police assisted in Lopez's arrest.
Last week, police arrested 23-year-old Leighton Vanderberg in New Haven in connection to the shooting.
Police released surveillance video that showed the two suspects walking toward the store, and then a minute later they were seen running back in the direction they came.
Police say Lopez is scheduled to be in court tomorrow.
