Police are looking for a man who may be connected to a robbery turned violent in Soundview.
They say a 24-year-old man was lured into the James Monroe Houses a week ago, located at 810 Soundview Ave., by a 20-year-old woman.
Another man then entered the building, robbed the 24-year-old victim and stabbed him twice. Investigators believe the woman and man were working together.
The victim was transported by EMS to NYC Health + Hospitals/Jacobi in stable condition. News 12 was told the victim is expected to be OK.
"It makes me feel like I have to leave here eventually. And I really don't because this is where I was born and it's my home," said Carmen Trinidad, a Bronx native.
Anyone with information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
