Bridgeport police are asking for the public's help in identifying the person who can be seen in surveillance video burglarizing a local business.
The incident happened Wednesday at Express Mobile on East Main Street at around 12 a.m.
Jesse Velez, the shop's owner, says a man came in through the front window and stole several cellphones. He says the suspect was able to return again at 4 a.m. to steal more mobile phones because the alarm failed to go off.
Velez put up bars in his windows Saturday and installed unbreakable glass. With so much of his inventory gone, he says he is hoping for justice.
The store owner says somebody broke his front door earlier this year and stole his ATM.
Anyone with information on the suspect in the video should call Bridgeport police.
