Police in Bridgeport are on the hunt for the suspect who shot a man multiple times Sunday morning.
The shooting happened around 11 a.m. near Platt Street and Pleasant Place.
Police say 22-year-old Jovanni Reyes was walking to his car when someone shot him about five times from a passing vehicle.
Reyes was taken to St. Vincent's Medical Center in critical condition. His friends say his condition has improved since first being admitted.
Police say it appears that Reyes was targeted and not a random victim.
As News 12 has reported, Reyes was also shot in October 2012 outside the T-Market on Reservoir Avenue. An arrest was made in that case.
Anyone with information on the most recent shooting is asked to call Bridgeport police.
