Police released a report regarding the bold shooting in broad daylight on Rose Park and West Main avenues earlier this week.
Police are now reportedly saying it was not a random shooting, but the possible result of a rivalry between two West Side groups. They say they were lucky no one was hurt.
Police told News 12 Connecticut after the shooting on Monday afternoon that it may have been random. Police were told that two people came down from Bridgeport and saw two others from Stamford with whom they had a problem, and then shots were fired.
But police reportedly now say it was a West Side rivalry, and they have three persons of interest in the case.
They say they don't believe this incident is related to recent deadly shootings in the city.
