A Stamford teacher has been arrested, accused of inappropriately touching 12 female students who attend Strawberry Hill Elementary School.
Andrew Park has been charged with 12 counts of sexual assault and 12 counts of risk of injury.
Stamford police say the Department of Children and Families notified police in February of the allegations against Park, which prompted a police investigation.
The group of students also spoke to police, in which they disclosed details of their encounters with Park. Police say they were in contact with the Stamford Public Schools superintendent's office throughout this investigation.
Police executed a search and seizure warrant at a home on Fillow Street in Norwalk Friday.
Park's bond was set $175,000 and he is expecting to appear in court on Monday.
