Greenwich police are investigating several home burglaries that took place over the Thanksgiving weekend.
Police say at least six homes were targeted between Wednesday evening and Sunday evening. Some homes were ransacked.
Police believe the perpetrators are experienced burglars who hit homes in Greenwich and surrounding towns in Connecticut and Westchester County, New York.
Police say three homes were also broken into earlier this month.
Authorities say they missed a chance to crack the case when a neighbor may have seen burglars casing the area and did not call them. Anyone who sees anything suspicious is asked to call the police.
