Darien police say suspects trespassed onto private property and hopped into a pool on Middlesex Road.

They say the house has been a popular spot for pool hopping for decades.

Police say the homeowners have security features, including cameras surrounding the property.

"With college kids coming back or high school friends coming back, historically, it is young folks," says Captain Donald Anderson. "Many times we get there, they disappear in the woods into the night. Sometimes, we end up having contact with them. Sometimes, we don't."

Officials say the suspects could be charged with criminal trespassing.
