Police are warning people not to leave their cars running unattended to warm up.
Stamford police say a man turned his car on Sunday night to warm it up, did not lock it, and then went back inside for a few minutes as the car was stolen.
Luckily, officers found the man's car yesterday afternoon just a couple blocks away.
Police say they have responded to a few other similar car thefts in the last couple weeks.
