New Canaan police are telling residents to lock up their homes and their cars.
Officers say a suspect stole a car Sunday on Old Stamford Road.

 

They say the owners left the car unlocked with the keys inside.

 

People also reported several break-ins in the area of Orchard Drive just after Labor Day.

 

Police ask residents to report any suspicious activity.
Anyone with information about the burglaries is asked to call New Canaan police.
