Police: West Haven man arrested for calling in ferry bomb threat

A West Haven man has been arrested for allegedly calling in a bomb threat to Port Jefferson Ferry Services.

A West Haven man has been arrested for allegedly calling in a bomb threat to Port Jefferson Ferry Services.
The threat was determined to be unfounded.
Trevon Phidd has been charged for allegedly calling in bomb threats today and last week.
His bond is set at $500,000.
Police say the call came in Wednesday around noon.
A K-9 sweep of ferries and terminals was done, but nothing was found.
Police say Phidd worked in food services in the Bridgeport terminal.
