Greenwich police and firefighters are investigating after a "suspicious white powder" was found at Town Hall on Field Point Road this evening.
Officials say someone came in contact with the powder, which was in an envelope. That person needed to be decontaminated and was also taken to the hospital to be evaluated.
Greenwich First Selectman Peter Tesei says the envelope was found in the IT Department.
