Police say a Wilton teenager is facing charges for his role in a fight between students from Wilton and Ridgefield.
The incident happened near the end of August, right before the start of the school year.
Police say Ridgefield students came to Wilton High School for a scavenger hunt that broke out into a fight between the two schools. They say 18-year-old Martynas Zoruba, of Wilton, injured a Ridgefield student in the altercation on the football field.
Police add that both groups of teens appeared to be getting along until a Ridgefield student either made an attempt to urinate on the field or was just pretending as part of the scavenger hunt. Zoruba then allegedly punched the victim.
Police say the victim was cut and had a concussion, but is expected to be OK. They say the rest of the teens involved are juveniles whose cases are being reviewed by the state attorney's office.
